Stung & Smelled

This had a fake chocolate scent. It also stung and I did not keep it on for the full 15 mins, That said, it washed off easily and my skin did look, but I did have lingering redness. I would not buy again and I am glad I got the smaller size.

Read and Research Every. Single. Ingredient

This is the first Miss A product I have been completely disappointed with. I glanced through the effects of the clay mask and briefly read the ingredients and nothing alarmed me at the time of purchase as I don’t have incredibly sensitive skin. However, once I got the mask and proceeded to follow the instructions, the mask felt like fire on my skin within seconds. After quickly wiping it away from my face and hand, I’ve had this severe allergic reaction/chemical burn on my hand and parts of my face for over thirty minutes and counting.
Trying to figure out why I had such a bad reaction led me to research each ingredient and the last ingredient, Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid, can cause severe allergic reactions for some people and is used to decrease the reactivity of metal ions in a product, and used as a medicine to treat metal toxicity or lead poisoning. It’s also supposed to serve as a stability and preserving agent in beauty products.
It’s the only ingredient I can pinpoint having a reaction to as I’ve had all the other ingredients in beauty products throughout my life without a reaction.
This all goes with saying that I have had so many beauty products from Miss A that I love! Just always be sure to read and research before buying.
