I was really excited about this new release—it’s affordable, user-friendly, and comes in beautiful shades. However, the packaging is a major flaw.
The biggest issue is the squeeze tube’s fragile plastic tip. Despite the tube itself being sturdy, two of my blushes arrived already broken, leaking product before I even opened them. This makes the blush messy and wasteful, and because the formula is a runny gel, it continues to seep out if any pressure is applied.
If you decide to keep a cracked tube, you’ll have to store it upright and avoid tilting or squeezing it, or else the product will spill out, potentially staining your vanity, purse, or makeup bag.
The formula itself is pigmented, blendable, and sets fairly quickly, with long-lasting wear. It’s not a bad formula, but the packaging makes it nearly unusable. I’ll provide a picture of the three shades I purchased—Luminous, Brilliant, and Radiant—to show their pigmentation and how they blend out.
I would give this five stars for the price, formula, and concept, but I can’t in good conscience recommend it with such a major flaw. Even at $1.88, I’d rather save my money than spend it on a blush that will inevitably become unusable due to its faulty packaging. The formula itself works, but once the tip is broken, it’s at risk of contamination, drying out, or spilling everywhere. Their powder blushes and Liquid Gel Plush Blush are much better alternatives.
